This new system opens up a world of x-ray system solutions for technologists, due to the complete automated positioning features and pre-programmed exam positions. All positioning motions of this C-Arm type system are fully motorized, and synchronized for maximum system speed and throughput. The patient exam is selected from either the modality worklist or directly by the technologist via remote control. The “QV-9000” will then automatically move itself into the proper position required to complete the examination. This advanced feature provides for greater imaging accuracy and also greatly reduces time between procedures.

The system can also be easily positioned from either the digital operator controls or from Quantum’s unique “TechVision”. The unit features a highly versatile C-Arm design which maintains constant alignment between the x-ray tube and the image receptor, regardless of C-Arm tilt position or image receptor angle. This allows for a great number of exam positions, for not only average patients, but also those who are disabled or physically restricted.
