Quantum’s Orthopedic Scoliosis Positioning Device enables technologists to take long film studies of the spine and lower extremities for measurement purposes, with reduced patient movement. With its hidden self-locking wheels, positioning of the stand is quick and easy. The unit rolls easily over floors and automatically locks in place, once a patient steps onto it. The adjustable patient straps assist in keeping the patient immobilized between exposures, as the lack of movement is critical to producing images that can be digitally stitched together.
The Positioning Device is designed to allow easy patient access and accommodates pediatric through adult patients. The transparent polycarbonate back allows the technologist to easily visualize the DR image receptor throughout the procedure for quick and easy centering. The Orthopedic Scoliosis Positioning Device is extremely flexible and can be used with a wide variety of digital radiographic systems.
